From a base in Inverness I work by myself or in a team to capture the key events within any size of wedding from small intimate events to the larger multi location weddings.
My typical wedding videographer’s plan is to film all the key activities on the day that make your love story special and so unique to you.
So you’ll see moments of love and emotion recorded that you can re-watch into the future, even some you may have missed yourself during the day.
Most importantly it’s your day and I’ll respect this and include the elements you want plus a few suggestions I will make along the way. I get a real buzz out of creating films with my clients on their precious Wedding days.

It is crucial to know about the background, experience and skills of the person responsible for such an important investment as your wedding videography. Here’s a little about Walter Geddes in his own words.
Background
I first picked up a camera back in 2006 when on the beautiful island of Madeira.
I wanted to capture what I was seeing and bought a camera.
A couple of years later I had some lessons and it just spiraled from there.
I got better and people started asking me to take pictures for them and it then became a semi professional career.
I have a successful photo studio on Canal road in Inverness under the name of Studio HD Inverness.
I’ve also photographed hundreds of weddings over the years and still do to this day however my main area of concentration is video.
Come 2021 the year after the 2020 lockdown I had a chat with a fellow photographer Michael Carver and I decided to record some video at a couple of weddings he was photographing.
It turned out I was pretty good at it and after producing the first couple of films the business has grown considerably to what it is today.
After two years I’m now capturing videos at over 40 weddings a year and it’s become so busy that I now employ a team of editors who do all my editing of the wedding films for me and have done so for over a year.
Brass equipment
When I’m not working with my videography equipment I can sometimes be found blowing a trumpet in the horn section of local Highland band Scooty and the Skyhooks – the trumpet is another essential peice of my equipment.
Hazel & Tom
In the Kinghouse Hotel in Glencoe based in the impressive Glencoe, Hazel and Tom’s wedding was a picturesque fusion of nature and adventure. Whether inside or out this fantastic location enhanced the romance of the day.
Noosha and Roozbeh
A film of a beautiful Persian celebrations of Noosha and Roozbeh at Boclair House in Glasgow. From arrivals at the beautiful setting through the vows to congratulations, dancing and some great words spoken.
Laura & Blair
A film of a wedding in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, amidst the towering mountains and lush greenery, Laura and Blair have chosen this enchanting castle as the backdrop for their love story.

Danielle & Luis enjoyed the magnificent splendour of Achnagairn Castle by Inverness surrounded by the love and support of their cherished friends and family.
